Job summary

Advanced Exterior Systems, a local architectural cladding design and fabrication firm, is seeking an experienced architectural drafter for an in-person role in Raleigh, NC. You will create and revise architectural and cladding system drawings, collaborating with designers, project managers, and field personnel to deliver integrated designs.

The role requires 2+ years in CAD drafting, proficiency with AutoCAD and Revit, and strong attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or certificate in Architectural Drafting/Architectural Technology or related field.
• Two years of experience in the CAD Drafting industry.
• Use CAD software AutoCAD, Revit, or similar to produce 2D and 3D drawings.

Responsibilities

• Create and revise detailed architectural and cladding system drawings using CAD (AutoCAD) and other drafting tools.
• Collaborate with Designers, Project Managers and Field personnel to create integrated designs.
• Read and interpret architectural and/or structural plans and specs.
• Communicate in a professional manner over phone and email.
• Work in a production-oriented atmosphere.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities Create and revise detailed architectural and cladding system drawings using CAD eg AutoCAD and other drafting toolsCollaborate closely with Designers Project Managers and Field personnel to create effective integrated designsExtensive working knowledge of Architectural drafting principlesExperience reading and interpreting architectural andor structural plans & specsAbility to communicate in a professional manner over phone and through emailAbility to work in a production oriented atmosphereFriendly professional outgoing team member mindset
