Job summary

SEH is seeking an Architectural Designer to join our Colorado architecture team. This role supports diverse projects and promotes collaboration across offices, with hybrid options and potential for remote work.

Candidate should live within commuting distance of Denver or Durango, possess a Master of Architecture or 5-year degree, and have strong Revit skills to contribute to multifamily, hospitality, transportation, and public safety projects.

Qualifications

• Master of Architecture or 5-year Bachelor degree in Architecture.
• Experience or willingness to foster complex architectural projects through each phase of a building’s design and construction.
• Rudimentary knowledge of building codes and accessible design; facility space planning, programming and interior functional layouts, site master planning and investigations, and construction administration activities.
• Mastery of Autodesk Revit.
• Must be able to provide own means of reliable transportation for occasional travel as needed for team meetings, client consultations, on-site observations/visits, etc.
• Live within daily commuting distance of the either the Denver or Durango SEH Office.
• Work from home is acceptable; however, the candidate must be willing to work in the office as needed for team collaboration.

As An Architectural Designer On Our Team, You Will

Essential Qualifications

• Master of Architecture or 5-year Bachelor or Architecture Degree
• Experience or willingness to help foster complex architectural projects through each phase of a building’s design and construction phases.
• Rudimentary knowledge of building codes and accessible design; facility space planning, programming and interior functional layouts, site master planning and investigations, and construction administration activities.
• Mastery of Autodesk Revit
• Must be able to provide own means of reliable transportation for occasional travel as needed for team meetings, client consultations, on‑site observations/visits, etc.

Preferred Qualifications

• 2 to 4 years of experience following completion of a Master of Architecture or 5-year Bachelor of Architecture degree from an accredited university.
• Previous experience with another firm producing design models and drawings using Autodesk Revit Software following completion of an architectural degree.
• Assoc. AIA, NCARB, LEED AP, Revit Certified Professional and/or other credentials.
• Proficient with Microsoft 365 Suite.
• Rendering proficiency in Enscape, Lumion and/or Twinmotion.
• Proficiency with Newforma, Bluebeam and/or Autodesk Forma.
