Job summary

BRR Architecture, Inc. is seeking an Architect with strong collaboration and production skills to contribute to design, coordination, and project lifecycle execution.

You will prepare construction documents, coordinate with MEPF and structural disciplines, and engage with clients and team members in a fast-paced studio environment.

Qualifications

• Professional accredited degree in Architecture.
• Licensure not required.
• Must communicate complex issues involving functional and aesthetic aspects of architecture.
• Ability to engage in creative and critical thought and graphically communicate concepts.
• Desire to work in a team-oriented, fast paced environment.
• Assist in architectural research, document/design development, peer consultation and program-wide implementation.
• Detail-oriented with confidentiality and sensitivity of information.
• Strong communication, problem solving, and presentation skills.
• Must be able to work well with all levels of teammates.
• Intermediate to Advanced computer skills including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Revit and AutoCAD knowledge; drive to research and utilize technology in architectural applications.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate materials, building products, constructability and processes.
• Produce detailed construction documents for projects.
• Coordinate with Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Protection, Refrigeration and Structural disciplines.
• Develop and assist in client and peer presentations.
• Attend project and studio meetings.
• Build, develop, and maintain client relations.
• Assist in problem solving of production issues.
• Responsibility for ensuring success of project.
• Review architectural designs, production documents, and construction change directives.
• Conduct site scopes, observation trips, and generate field reports.

In CA the standard base pay range for this role is $66,500- $73,000 annually. This base pay range is specific to CA and may not be applicable to other locations. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience and location. BRR pay and benefits can vary by location, number of regularly scheduled hours worked, length of employment and employment status.
