Job summary

JPI seeks an Architectural Construction Administration Manager to join the Central Design team in Dallas, TX. You will manage documentation, RFIs, submittals, and liaise with development and architectural production teams to ensure projects are executed on time and within budget.

The role requires 2–5 years of related experience, a degree in architecture (licensed preferred), and proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Bluebeam Revu, and Procore.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture or related field; licensed architect preferred but not required.
  • 2–5 years related work experience.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Bluebeam Revu, Procore.
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor construction schedules and milestone dates.
  • Organize and attend OAC Team meetings with site visits at different stages of construction to ensure delivered product is consistent with plans and specs.
  • Oversee and manage review and certification of monthly draws and Pay-Apps and invoices.
  • Review RFIs and consultant responses for completeness; approve submittals and shop drawings.
  • Coordinate with design consultants; review ASI’s and field/design modifications.
  • Assist with owner third party reports and coordinate with teams to interpret and correct deficiencies.
  • Oversee substantial completion process.
  • Lead Look Back and Lessons Learned meetings at project end.
  • Utilize approved AI tools to draft, summarize, and accelerate work.

About the Job.

JPI has an exciting opportunity for a Architectural Construction Administration Manager to join our Central Design team located in Dallas, TX. In this role, you will play a critical part in supporting our construction projects by managing documentation, reviewing and answering RFIs, submittals, and communication with the development and architectural production team. Your expertise will ensure projects are executed efficiently, on time, and within budget.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities

Construction Coordination

  • Monitors the construction schedules and milestone dates.

  • Organize and attend the OAC Team meetings with frequent site visits atdifferent stagesof construction to ensure deliveredproduct isconsistent with plans and specs andidentifiesareas for recommended enhancement. Site visits include the organization and attendance of all mock‑ups,pre drywallbox walks for club/common area/units, garage, front entry (landscape, signage, and lighting), clubhouse, courtyards, leasing trap and first units.

  • Overseesand manages the review and certification of monthly draws and Pay‑Aps and miscellaneous Development invoices.

  • Review and answer RFIs received from the job site andconsultantsresponses for completeness.

  • Review/ approve submittals and shop drawings received from the job site and designconsultantsresponses for completeness.

  • Review ASI’s and Field/Design Modifications from the job site and design consultants.

  • Assist with all the Owners 3rd Party Accessibility Consultant Field Reports, Building Envelope Consultants Field Reports, Engineer Observations Reports and Material Testing Field Reports for review and make recommendations based on site inspections reports and reviews, coordinates with the Design Management Team, Design Consultants Team and Construction Team to interpret and correct deficiencies.

  • Overseasesand manages the Substantial Completion process.

  • Manages and coordinates Look Back “Lesson’s Learned” Meeting at the end of each project.

AI and Automation

  • Uses approved enterprise AI tools (e.g., Claude Cowork, Microsoft Copilot) to draft, summarize, analyze, and accelerate everyday work.

  • Applies sound judgment to review AI-generated outputs for accuracy, tone, and appropriateness before using or sharing them.

  • Follows company data handling, confidentiality, and acceptable-use policies when working with AI tools and sensitive information.

  • Demonstrates curiosity and willingness to adopt new tools; activelyparticipatesin AI training, office hours, and adoption campaigns.

  • Uses AI assistants to reduce manual effort on routine tasks (email drafting, meeting notes, document summarization, basic research).

Non‑Essential & Responsibilities

Education, Work Experience, & Physical Requirements

  • Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices.

  • Bachelor’s orMaster’s degree in Architectureor related field.

  • Licensedarchitectpreferred but notrequired.

  • Related work experience of 2 – 5 years.

  • Proficiencyin AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Bluebeam Revu, Procore.

  • Proficiencyin typical office software - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams.

  • At least 1yearsin an architecture project management or construction management role.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey construction concepts to diverse audiences.

  • Proven leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate team members towards shared goals.

  • Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, whilemaintaininga positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service.
