Job summary

Kovach is seeking an experienced Architectural Business Development Manager to identify and influence early-stage opportunities within the architecture, design, owner and construction communities in the Phoenix area.

This relationship-driven role requires building trusted partnerships with architects, owners, developers, general contractors, and design professionals to position Kovach as a preferred partner for building envelope systems. Travel is required to cover assigned markets.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of experience in architectural products, building envelope systems, or related fields.
• Experience developing relationships within the architectural, owner, developer, and general contractor communities.
• Strong understanding of building envelope systems and design processes.
• Proven ability to influence decision-makers and generate early-stage opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Architectural & Market Relationship Development: Develop relationships with architects, owners, developers, general contractors, and consultants.
• Early-Stage Project Influence & Pipeline Development: Identify opportunities during conceptual to design development phases.
• Technical Consultation & Design Support: Serve as a technical advisor on building envelope systems and related solutions.
• Industry Education & Brand Positioning: Deliver technical presentations and participate in industry groups.
• Internal Collaboration: Partner with Preconstruction Managers, Estimators, and Design Managers to align pursuit strategies.
