BRAVO is a cooperative partnering Velocity Architectural and Engineering Services and Bradford Construction Corporation. We seek an Architectural BIM Coordination Manager to spearhead interdisciplinary coordination, clash detection, and BIM integration across institutional and public-sector projects in the New York metropolitan area.

Qualifications

• 5-10 years progressive experience in architectural design, VDC/BIM coordination, and construction document production.
• Expert-level proficiency in Autodesk Revit and Navisworks Manage (Clash Detective, TimeLiner).
• Experience with NYC public agency projects (NYC SCA, DDC, DASNY, Port Authority) preferred.
• New York Registered Architect licensure preferred.

Responsibilities

• Federate, review, and coordinate architectural models with structural and MEP models using Revit and Navisworks Manage.
• Conduct clash audits and lead technical coordination meetings with discipline leads.
• Review contractor shop drawings and submittals for alignment with design intent and specs.
• Ensure models conform to BEP/BxP and NYC client standards (SCA, DDC, DASNY).
• Maintain model accuracy across revisions, RFIs, and addenda.

Job Title: Architectural BIM Coordination Manager

Job Description: Velocity Architecture & Engineering Group DPC is seeking an Architectural BIM Coordination Manager to spearhead interdisciplinary coordination, constructability reviews, and BIM integration across our expanding portfolio of institutional and public-sector projects.

In this role, you will bridge the gap between architectural design, engineering, and construction execution. You will be responsible for integrating architectural models with multi-discipline engineering models, leading clash detection and constructability audits, verifying alignment with design intent, and reviewing contractor shop drawings and submittals throughout the project lifecycle.

• Federate, review, and coordinate architectural models with structural and MEP/FP models systems using Autodesk Revit and Navisworks Manage.
• Conduct comprehensive clash audits, chair technical coordination meetings with discipline leads, and resolve spatial, service-clearance, and constructability conflicts prior to issued-for-construction releases.
• Review contractor shop drawings and submittals for alignment with design intent, contract documents, and project specifications.
• Ensure project models strictly conform to project-specific BIM Execution Plans (BEP/BxP) and public client standards (e.g., NYC SCA, DDC, DASNY).
• Maintain model accuracy across revision milestones, tracking RFIs, design updates, bulletins, and addenda within coordinated project models.

Requirements

• 5-10 years of progressive experience in architectural design, VDC/BIM coordination, and construction document production.
• Expert-level proficiency in Autodesk Revit and Navisworks Manage (Clash Detective, TimeLiner); working knowledge of Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) / BIM 360.
• In-depth knowledge of architectural building components, including building envelope assemblies, interior layouts, dimensional coordination, and architectural/structural and MEP interfaces.
• Demonstrated experience working on New York City public agency projects (NYC SCA, DDC, DCAS, NYCHA, DASNY, Port Authority, etc.) is strongly preferred.
• Preference will be given to candidates with New York Registered Architect licensure.
• Autodesk Certified Professional (Revit/Navisworks) or CM-BIM credentials are also preferred.

$90,000 - $135,000 USD
