Job summary

Flad Architects in Atlanta is seeking an early‑career designer to join our collaborative studio. You will prepare concept materials, develop design and technical solutions, and support clients from concept through construction.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor’s or Master’s in architecture, a strong design portfolio, and proficiency in Rhino/SketchUp and Revit; a willingness to learn and adapt in a hybrid work environment is essential.

Qualifications

• One year of recent architectural experience.
• Portfolio demonstrating a high level of design thinking and presentation media.

Responsibilities

• Prepare presentation materials including conceptual drawings, 3D renderings, and models.
• Develop and modify design and technical solutions across all project phases.
• Contribute to design discussions and generate ideas in drawings, models and visuals.
• Collaborate with the team to meet deadlines within time and budget constraints.
• Produce revisions from mock-ups and redlines.
• Attend client meetings to observe process and enhance presentation skills.
• Participate in construction site visits to understand construction.
• Identify conflicts during construction and propose alternatives.
