Job summary

Monks is seeking an Associate Director, Project Management to architect clarity in a fast-paced creative environment. You will own workflows, schedules, and operations to transform ambiguity into scalable processes that empower teams delivering world-class content for the Google ecosystem.

Candidates must work Pacific Time business hours. The role includes overseeing cross-functional programs, coordinating agency partners, and driving automation to streamline processes as Monks grows globally.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in marketing and program management.
• Experience building workflow infrastructure from the ground up.
• Understanding of budget oversight and staffing models.
• Proficiency with project management; Smartsheet and Airtable preferred.
• Experience or strong interest in AI tools and marketing automation.
• Strong communication skills to lead meetings and influence stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Full-Lifecycle Campaign Program Management: manage launch campaigns end-to-end.
• Management of Creative Reviews: oversee review cycles and approvals with cross-functional teams.
• Stakeholder Management: act as primary point of contact for workstream owners and partners.
• Organizational Alignment & Timeline Management: align milestones and critical gates with teams.
• Infrastructure & Process Architecture: identify frictions and redesign workflows.
• Agency & Resource Management: oversee vendor staffing and performance.
• Operational Tooling & Automation: implement automation to structure workflows.
• Strategic Proactivity & Ownership: anticipate needs and drive processes forward.
• Navigating Ambiguity: seek clarity and define paths when goals are unclear.
• Clarity Amidst Chaos: stay organized with multiple moving parts.
• Relationship Management: nurture partnerships to leverage content opportunities.
