Job summary

CBTS is seeking an Architect – Network Engineering to lead design, governance, and modernization of enterprise networks in complex hybrid environments. You will create secure, scalable, and high-performing network solutions aligned with business needs and digital transformation efforts.

The role requires 12–15 years IT experience with 10+ years in enterprise networking, plus a BS degree and advanced certifications.

Qualifications

• Experience designing large-scale enterprise networks and governance.

Responsibilities

• Design and govern enterprise network architecture across LAN, WAN, SD-WAN, wireless, and data center environments.
• Lead network transformation initiatives and modernization programs.
• Develop architecture frameworks, standards, governance, and reference designs.
• Translate requirements into end-to-end network architectures and plans.
• Embed security principles into network designs (segmentation, VPNs, firewalls).
• Collaborate with infrastructure, cloud, cybersecurity, data center, and apps teams.
• Evaluate emerging technologies for performance, reliability, and cost optimization.
• Review and approve high-level and low-level network designs and maintain standards.
• Create architecture docs, standards, topology diagrams, and decision records.
• Mentor network engineering teams and provide technical leadership.

We are seeking an experienced Architect – Network Engineering to lead the design, evolution, and governance of enterprise network architecture across complex hybrid environments. This role is responsible for creating secure, scalable, resilient, and high-performing network solutions that support business growth and digital transformation initiatives. The ideal candidate will combine deep technical expertise with strategic thinking to develop architecture standards, modernization roadmaps, and future-ready networking solutions.

What You'll Do

• Design and govern enterprise network architecture across LAN, WAN, SD-WAN, wireless, and data center environments.
• Lead network transformation initiatives, technology modernization programs, site deployments, cloud connectivity projects, and migrations.
• Develop architecture frameworks, standards, governance practices, and reference designs that ensure scalability, resilience, and operational excellence.
• Translate business and technical requirements into end-to-end network architectures, implementation plans, and capacity strategies.
• Embed security principles into network designs, including segmentation, VPNs, firewalls, access controls, and secure connectivity models.
• Partner with infrastructure, cloud, cybersecurity, data center, and application teams to ensure seamless interoperability and compliance.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and vendor solutions to improve network performance, automation, reliability, and cost optimization.
• Review and approve high-level and low-level network designs while maintaining alignment with enterprise standards.
• Create architecture documentation, technical standards, topology diagrams, and decision records.
• Mentor network engineering teams and provide technical leadership on complex networking initiatives.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics & Communication Engineering, or a related field.
• 12–15 years of overall IT experience.
• 10+ years of hands-on experience in enterprise networking, network architecture, or network engineering leadership roles.
• Strong experience designing and supporting large-scale enterprise network environments.

$110,000-140,000/per annum, i.e. the range is salary not including commission.

The compensation range in this posting reflects the Company’s good‑faith estimate at the time of publication. The applicable base pay range for any individual will be determined based on the candidate’s designated primary work location as well as factors including role scope and responsibilities, required qualifications, and the individual’s experience, education, skills, knowledge, and performance. Certain positions may also be eligible for additional compensation such as discretionary merit increases, bonuses, or sales‑based variable compensation in accordance with applicable plans and role requirements.
