Job summary

ElSewedy is seeking a creative Lighting Architect to design interior and exterior lighting for architectural projects in the United States. The role requires at least one year of hands-on lighting design experience and a strong eye for aesthetics, functionality, and energy efficiency.

You will use DIAlux EVO, AutoCAD, SketchUp, Lumion and Photoshop to develop layouts, 3D models, mood boards, and client presentations, collaborating with architects, engineers, and clients to deliver integrated

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of hands-on experience in lighting design.
• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Lighting Design, or related field.
• Proficiency in DIAlux EVO, AutoCAD, Photoshop, SketchUp, and Lumion.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop lighting schemes for architectural projects including commercial, residential, hospitality, and landscape environments.
• Produce professional lighting layouts, lux level calculations, and visual presentations using DIAlux EVO and AutoCAD.
• Collaborate closely with architects, interior designers, engineers, and clients to achieve project objectives and integrated design solutions.
• Create 3D models and realistic lighting renderings using SketchUp and Lumion to effectively communicate design intent.
• Prepare mood boards, conceptual diagrams, and client presentations using Photoshop and related tools.
• Stay up to date with advancements in lighting technologies, codes, and sustainability practices.
• Support project execution through site visits, installation supervision, and lighting system commissioning.
