Job summary

MSITEK seeks an SAP Architect specialized in EWM production integration to lead end-to-end design and deployment of EWM-PP/PP-DS interfaces on S/4HANA. The role focuses on aligning production supply areas and staging with plant layouts, and configuring resource management for distribution equipment used in production.

You will design material staging triggers from SAP DM to EWM, implement Kanban where applicable, and ensure automated warehouse tasks on production order release.

• Extensive experience in SAP EWM integration projects.
• Proven ability to design and implement SAP EWM production interfaces.
• Strong knowledge of S/4HANA logistics and warehouse processes.

• Configure EWM Resource Management for distribution equipment used in production supply scenarios.
• Define material staging triggers from SAP DM to EWM for automatic replenishment on PO release or shop floor signals.
• Configure replenishment strategies and goods movement for production staging and goods issue to production orders.
• Lead testing cycles (unit, integration, UAT) and support cutover for production-related warehouse processes.

Position: SAP Architect - EWM Production Integration

Location: Remote

Description

Project Description:

• Lead end-to-end EWM-PP/PP-DS integration design on S/4HANA, including warehouse-to-manufacturing interface architecture
• Define Production Supply Area (PSA) and staging area concepts aligned to plant layout and production flow requirements
• Design and configure EWM Resource Management for distribution equipment used in production supply scenarios
• Define material staging triggers from SAP DM to EWM ensuring warehouse replenishment tasks are automatically initiated upon production order release or shop floor consumption signals

Configuration & Build

• Configure production supply elements: replenishment strategies, warehouse orders for production staging, goods issue to production/process orders
• Design goods receipt from production including backflushing and HU-managed finished goods putaway
• Set up Kanban integration (where applicable) and internal goods movements for production-related stock transfers
• Configure activity area-based task routing to ensure correct equipment and resource assignment for production supply tasks

Data & Migration

• Support migration of EWM production master data: storage types, bins, PSAs, equipment type configuration
• Validate stock transfer and goods movement cutover scenarios including HU and equipment-managed stock

Testing & Go-Live

• Lead EWM-PP integration testing cycles (unit, integration, UAT), including equipment dispatch and Resource Management scenarios
• Support cutover execution and hypercare for production-related warehouse processes
• Risk mitigation for first period-end close involving EWM production and distribution equipment transactions
