Job summary

VCBO Architecture is seeking an Architect to join our St. George office. This role supports multiple project phases, from concept to construction documents, and works closely with a collaborative team to develop creative and practical solutions.

You’ll contribute to design ideas, coordinate with engineers and consultants, and take increasing ownership over defined tasks while growing technical expertise and understanding of building systems.

Qualifications

• A degree in Architecture is required.
• Approximately 3–8 years of professional architectural experience.
• Working knowledge of Revit, SketchUp, Rhino and Adobe Suite.
• Growing understanding of building systems, documentation and project coordination.
• Strong communication and a collaborative mindset.
• Licensure is not required but is encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Work on multiple phases of design, including conceptual design, design development, and construction documents.
• Contribute to design ideas, evaluate options, and help develop creative and practical solutions.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, consultants, and project teams to support coordination of building systems.
• Take ownership of defined project tasks and deliverables with increasing independence.
• Support permitting efforts and assist with submittals, RFIs, and construction phase activities.
• Apply design standards and codes while building technical expertise.
