Fabric is focused on platform engineering, building reusable products and services to enable scalable, secure, and AI-enhanced engineering delivery.

As a principal architect, you will partner with product managers to translate requirements into pragmatic options, produce blueprints, and drive secure, cloud-native solutions across the stack. You will guide hands-on prototyping, reviews, and standards, balancing cost, risk, and security to enable rapid, reliable delivery.

Qualifikationen

• Experience designing cloud-native architectures across integration, data, and security.
• Hands-on software engineering in multiple languages including C#, Java, JS/TS, Python.
• Experience with agentic AI coding tools like Copilot, Cursor, Windsurf.
• Deep Azure expertise including Entra ID, RBAC, Key Vault, and tenant-aware patterns.
• Experience with microservices, containers, AKS, and CI/CD.
• Design secure authentication and authorization patterns.
• Secure-by-design patterns and enterprise standards knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Produce architecture blueprints, high-level and low-level designs, and technical decision records
• Design secure, scalable, and reusable services, APIs, datastore patterns, and UX-facing capabilities
• Lead hands-on prototyping, code reviews, and design assurance with engineering teams
• Select technologies and define development standards to create common frameworks across the platform
• Manage the architecture backlog and balance trade-offs between cost, risk, quality, and security
• Apply AI-assisted and agentic engineering practices to improve delivery and developer productivity

Requirements

• Strong architecture experience across cloud-native applications, integration, data, and security
• Hands-on software engineering capability in C#, Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, or Python
• Practical experience with agentic AI coding tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Windsurf)
• Deep Azure expertise including Entra ID, RBAC, Key Vault, and tenant-aware identity patterns
• Experience with microservices, containers, Kubernetes (AKS), and CI/CD via Azure DevOps or GitHub
• Ability to design complex authentication and authorization patterns
• Understanding of secure-by-design patterns and enterprise technology standards

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with internal developer platforms or platform marketplace models
• Knowledge of generative AI patterns, RAG, and AI governance guardrails
• Familiarity with enterprise UX patterns and low-code/no-code capabilities
• Certifications such as Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Azure Security Engineer, TOGAF, or SAFe
