What You’ll Do as the Licensed Architect:
  • Collaborate with the in house design and construction management team to plan and develop new build and renovation projects for restaurant and commercial properties
  • Produce full sets of biddable and buildable construction drawings using AutoCAD and related tools
  • Coordinate with external engineers, consultants, and vendors to integrate structural, MEP and site requirements
  • Ensure compliance with local building, zoning and permitting regulations and handle documentation for municipal approvals
  • Provide construction administration support, including site visits, punch lists, and coordination through project close?out
  • Participate in programmatic design reviews and training sessions with the franchisor and brand stakeholders
Must Haves as the Licensed Architect:
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited architecture program
  • Active licensure (or on track for full licensure) and NCARB certification or equivalent credential
  • 10–15 years of relevant professional architecture experience, including commercial and/or food service projects
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD and Microsoft Office; ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines independently
  • Strong contract negotiation, written and verbal communication skills
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel between job sites as required
Nice to Haves as the Licensed Architect:
  • Prior experience in restaurant or quick service food service design and construction
  • Familiarity with SketchUp, Photoshop, or other 3D modelling/visualization tools
  • Previous involvement in permitting, zoning review, or municipal approvals
  • Comfort working in a hybrid role blending design, project management and field oversight
Our Client Offers:
  • Competitive salary in the range of $90,000–$110,000 per year
  • Matching 401(k), health, dental, vision and life insurance, plus flexible spending account
  • Paid time off and access to an employee assistance program
