Job summary

HDR, Inc. is seeking an Architect with a minimum of 3 years of experience and a registration as an Architect to join its team in Kansas City. The role emphasizes leadership, client engagement, and strong analytical and presentation skills, with proficiency in Revit and related design tools.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture or closely related field.
  • A minimum of 3 years experience.
  • Registered Architect.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Project).
  • Strong leadership, communication and relationship management skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in use of Autodesk Revit and familiarity with related tools and process.
  • Demonstrated graphic presentation skills.
  • An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must.

Job description

Responsibilities

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experienced with specialized project types such as Master Planning, Feasibility Studies, Stadia, Arena, Performance Training Centers for intercollegiate and/or professional clientele.
  • Confident in client engagement via meetings and presentations
  • Master's degree in Architecture
  • Experience and/or interest in sustainable design/LEED
  • Knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, SketchUp and 3-D Studio Max
  • Rhino and Grasshopper experience
