Job summary

Leidos is seeking an ArcGIS Systems Engineer Subject Matter Expert in Fort Belvoir, VA to maintain and upgrade enterprise GIS software, services, and web applications. You will ensure ArcGIS infrastructure performance, provide user support, and troubleshoot complex GIS issues while collaborating with IT professionals and GIS users to advance initiatives.

The role requires the selected candidate to have a current TS/SCI clearance, 12+ years of related experience (or 10+ with a Master’s), and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 12+ years of relevant experience or Master’s with 10+ years
• 4+ years of ArcGIS administration, geospatial data, maps, services and applications
• Advanced level understanding of Microsoft Server in Active Directory environments
• 3+ years of SQL and Python
• Top Secret/SCI clearance required
• IAT Level II verification prior to start and maintenance of certification

Responsibilities

• Provide operational support for ArcGIS Enterprise environments (Portal, Server)
• Design and implement solutions for complex technical challenges
• Plan, support, implement and document engineering solutions autonomously
• Serve as SME for deployed solutions; Tier 4 escalation point
• Document technical implementations, TIPs, work instructions, and as-built docs
• Support ArcGIS product suite and future releases
• Upgrade ArcGIS Enterprise to latest versions
• Troubleshoot GIS software to ensure full functionality
• Collaborate with programs to integrate data from systems of record
• Ensure data security and compliance with agency policies
• Document and manage user guides, server configs, and GIS connections
• Understand ArcGIS Product Life Cycle and advise on policies
