Job summary

Hubbell Incorporated is seeking an entry-level welder to set up and adjust the MIG welding process for production welding on steel parts. This role offers the opportunity to advance to Arc Welder #1 as you gain the necessary skills.

You will read blueprints and routings to produce parts within tolerance, ensure part quality, and follow safety rules. You will also maintain simple productivity, quality and safety reports, contributing to Hubbell’s commitment to reliable, ethical manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Must read and understand blueprints and routings to produce parts within tolerances.
• Responsible for the quality of the parts produced.
• Follow all safety rules for machine operation and guarding.
• Maintain simple reports on productivity, quality and safety.
• Able to read and write simple production reports.

Responsibilities

• Set up and adjust the welder to perform production welding using MIG on various steel thicknesses.
• Read blueprints and routings to produce parts to required tolerances.
• Ensure quality of produced parts.
• Maintain safety and proper guarding.
