SAIC is seeking an Engineering Technician to support NAVAIR PMA-209 TACCOM / ARC-210 Radio with MUOS Satellite Communications engineering activities. Supports systems engineers with acquisition/procurement package development, test plans, and system test reports.

Provides integration support for ARC-210 radios on airborne platforms. Work will be performed client-site at NAS Patuxent River and at the SAIC office in California, MD.

Qualifications

• Associates degree and 3 years of experience, or HS diploma and 5 years of experience.
• Experience with Embedded Communication Security (COMSEC) devices and DoD waveform knowledge.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; interface with government, contractors, and industry personnel.

Responsabilités

• Provide systems engineering and integration support to Secure Communications and TACCOM teams.
• Represent TACCOM team at meetings/events with strong communication and organizational skills.
• Support COMSEC procurement and delivery processes and schedules.
• Assist in planning/acquisition of new capabilities for ARC-210 TACCOM.
• Liaison with TACCOM and International Program teams.
• Draft acquisition/contract documentation for ARC-210 TACCOM.
