Job summary

Flynn Arby's is seeking an enterprise-level Facilities Director to lead maintenance, capital planning, and asset reliability across a large, geographically dispersed restaurant portfolio. You will report to Operations leadership and set standards that drive uptime, safety, and guest satisfaction.

You will build a high-performing team, manage budgets and vendor partnerships, and collaborate with senior leaders to deliver scalable programs that reduce downtime and optimize asset lifecycle.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Facilities Management, Operations Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5+ years of progressive leadership experience in facilities management or related operations.
  • Experience leading multi-unit, geographically dispersed facilities or service teams.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a long-term facilities strategy that supports operational performance, brand standards, asset reliability, and growth.
  • Oversee facilities budgets, maintenance spend, and capital expenditures; drive cost discipline.
  • Lead vendor negotiations, contracts, performance reviews, and SLA management.
  • Build and mentor a high-performing facilities organization across managers, technicians, and support roles.
  • Promote safety, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement in field execution.

Reporting to the Vice President of Operations, you will serve as a key advisor to Operations and senior leadership, aligning facilities strategy with operational performance, financial objectives, brand standards, and long-term asset management.This role is responsible for ensuring safe, reliable, and cost-effective facilities performance through scalable systems, strong vendor partnerships, effective field execution, capital planning, and continuous improvement. The Facilities Director will exercise significant independent judgment in establishing programs and standards, managing budgets, identifying risks and opportunities, and developing strategies that improve restaurant uptime, asset reliability, and overall business performance.Responsibilities:Develop and execute a long-term facilities strategy that supports operational performance, brand standards, asset reliability, and business growthEstablish and maintain company-wide policies, standards, programs, and processes for maintenance, repair, facilities management, and capital improvementsServe as the senior facilities advisor to Operations leadership and executive stakeholdersPartner with the Vice President of Operations and senior leadership to establish long-term facilities priorities and strategic initiativesOversee facilities maintenance operations across all assigned markets, ensuring consistent execution, service quality, responsiveness, and adherence to established standardsDrive continuous improvement in work order management, service level agreements, maintenance processes, and field executionEnsure effective prioritization and resolution of facility and equipment issues that impact restaurant operationsMonitor and analyze facilities performance metrics, KPIs, service levels, maintenance spend, and financial data to identify trends, gaps, risks, and opportunitiesUse data and business insight to improve uptime, reduce costs, increase asset reliability, and improve the overall guest and team member experienceLead, develop, and support a multi-level facilities organization, including managers, technicians, and support functionsBuild a high-performing organization through coaching, performance management, talent development, succession and other functional leaders on incident response, prevention strategies, and corrective actionsCommunicate changes openly, build support for initiatives, solicit and encourage feedback, anticipate Facilities Management, Operations Management, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and professional experienceMinimum 5+ years of progressive leadership experience in facilities management, maintenance, service operations, or related operational leadershipSignificant experience managing facilities or service operations within a multi-unit, geographically dispersed environmentDemonstrated success leading large, distributed teams and developing high-performing organizationsExperience leading managers, technicians, and/or other multi-level facilities or service teamsDemonstrated ability to influence senior leaders and cross-functional stakeholdersStrong business acumen with demonstrated experience managing budgets, vendors, capital expenditures, and
