Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent with urban forestry related training or coursework evidencing climbing and aerial lift experience.
• Climbing and aerial lift experience; pruning and felling mature trees; urban forestry skills.
• State MV License, Pesticide Applicator License and ISA Certified Arborist; First Aid/CPR within 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Prunes, trims, fells, and maintains trees and shrubs; assess safety and proper execution; ensure public and crew safety per procedures.
• Plant trees and shrubs; prepare planting areas; water, fertilize, mulch, and maintain plants.
• Identify species, assess health, structural integrity, and infestations; document findings.
