Job summary

Lucas Tree Experts in Fryeburg, ME is seeking an Arborist Trainee / Climber for transmission line vegetation work. No experience required; on-the-job training provided.

Duties include manual vegetation removal, operating forestry equipment, pruning, and line clearance; candidates must be willing to learn, work outdoors, and meet physical requirements. Qualifications

• Must be able to work 45 hours weekly.
• Must be 18 years of age with a HS diploma or GED.
• Must have a valid driver's license with reliable transportation.
• Must be willing to obtain CDL A or B license and related certifications.

Responsibilities

• Manual removal of vegetation from work areas.
• Safely operating forestry equipment (skidders, mowers, chainsaws, ATVs).
• Perform line clearance, pruning, and removals.
• Willingness to learn to run a bucket truck and operate equipment safely.
