Job summary

Bartlett Tree Experts in Hooksett, NH is seeking an Arborist Crew Leader to guide a tree care crew and perform high-quality pruning, cabling, rigging, removals, and equipment operation in the field.

You will supervise crews, train team members, ensure safety and industry standards, and build strong client relationships while promoting professional development and a safety-first culture.

Qualifications

• At least three years of tree climbing (DdRT or SRT) and aerial lift experience.
• Valid driver's license (Class B CDL preferred).
• Ability to work outdoors year-round in all weather conditions.
• Strong leadership and client relationship skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise tree care crews to perform pruning, cabling/bracing, rigging and removals safely.
• Ensure proper operation and maintenance of equipment (hand tools, chainsaws, chippers, aerial lifts).
• Train crew members for designated jobs and ensure adherence to standards.
• Communicate with clients and represent Bartlett Tree Experts on site.
• Foster a cooperative, positive atmosphere and a safety-first culture.

As an Arborist Crew Leader, you will play an important role in

• Safely performing and supervising all aspects of arboriculture, including
  • Pruning
  • Cabling and bracing
  • Rigging
  • Removals
  • Properly maintaining and operating equipment (hand tools, chainsaws, chippers, and aerial lifts)
• Bringing a cooperative and enthusiastic attitude to the job site
• Supervising and managing crews while performing tree care services, as directed by the Arborist Representative and Local Manager
• Ensuring that each crew member is trained appropriately for each designated job assignment
• Ensuring that all tree care work is performed in accordance with industry and company standards
• Communicating, answering questions, and building relationships with clients
• A passion for nature, the environment, and the outdoors
• At least three (3) years of tree climbing (DdRT or SRT) and aerial lift experience in the tree care industry
• Valid driver's license (Class B CDL preferred)
• Ability to work outdoors year-round in all weather conditions
• Proven initiative, positive attitude, team-oriented, and self-motivated
