Job summary

SavATree is seeking a dedicated General Tree Care Worker to join our outdoor crew. You will participate in pruning, removals, cable bracing, and related tree care tasks across client properties, while ensuring safety and high-quality service.

Ideal candidates have pruning experience with large trees, knowledge of tree species, and proficiency with chainsaws and bucket trucks, all while maintaining a strong safety mindset.

Qualifications

• Experience with proper pruning practices including large shade trees and ornamentals.
• Ability to identify native and introduced tree and shrub species and understand their characteristics.
• Ability to climb without spurs.
• Experience with tree care safety standards.
• Practical knowledge of chainsaw and equipment operation.
• Experience with aerial lifts (bucket truck).

Responsibilities

• Perform pruning, removals, cable bracing and other tree care tasks.
• Safely operate equipment and complete assigned tasks while delivering quality service to clients.
• Work outdoors visiting properties within the community as part of a General Tree Care crew.
