Job summary

SavATree is seeking a Tree Climber to join our General Tree Care Team in Round Rock, TX. You’ll climb and prune large shade trees, perform removals, cable bracing, and operate chainsaws and bucket trucks as part of a safety‑driven crew.

You’ll work outdoors on local properties, following industry safety standards, with opportunities to grow your arboriculture career and earn competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience with pruning large shade trees and ornamentals.
• Ability to identify native and introduced tree species and their characteristics.
• Climb without spurs and follow safety standards for tree care.
• Hands-on experience with chainsaws and related equipment.
• Experience operating aerial lifts/bucket trucks.

Responsibilities

• Climb and prune large shade trees and ornamentals using proper practices.
• Perform removals, cable bracing, and other tree care techniques.
• Safely operate chainsaws, equipment, and aerial lifts (bucket trucks).
• Work as part of a team to deliver high-quality service to clients.
• Apply industry safety standards in all aspects of tree care.
