Bartlett Tree Experts in Williamsburg, VA is seeking an Arborist Climber to join a tree care crew. You will perform ground, tree climbing, and aerial lift duties, supporting Arborist Crew Leaders in delivering residential and commercial tree and shrub care services.

The role emphasizes safe operation of equipment, tree identification, risk assessments, pruning, removals, cabling, and root collar work, with opportunities for professional development within a safety-first culture.

Qualifications

• Passion for nature, environment and outdoors.
• At least 1 year of tree climbing (DdRT or SRT) and aerial lift experience.
• Valid driver's license (Class B CDL preferred).
• Ability to work outdoors year-round in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Perform ground, tree climbing, and aerial lift duties in support of specific job assignments, as directed by the Arborist Crew Leader.
• Safely performing all aspects of arboriculture, including: tree identification, risk assessments, pruning, removals, cabling and bracing, root collar excavations, and operating tools/equipment (hand tools, chainsaws, chippers, aerial lifts).
• Learning, understanding, and adhering to all safety rules and company safety policies.
