Job summary

Bartlett Tree Experts on Martha's Vineyard is seeking an Arborist Climber to perform ground, tree climbing, and aerial lift duties in a professional outdoor setting. You will identify trees, assess risks, prune, and assist with removals while using proper equipment and safety practices.

The role requires at least one year of climbing and aerial lift experience, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to work year-round in all weather conditions.

Qualifications

• At least one year of tree climbing experience (DdRT or SRT) and aerial lift operation in the tree care industry.
• Ability to work outdoors year-round in all weather conditions.
• Valid driver’s license (Class B CDL preferred).
• Perform ground, tree climbing, and aerial tasks safely under supervision.

Responsibilities

• Performing ground, tree climbing, and aerial lift duties in support of specific job assignments as directed by the Arborist Crew Leader.
• Safely performing all aspects of arboriculture, including tree identification, risk assessments, pruning, removals, cabling and bracing, and root collar excavations.
• Properly maintaining and operating tools and equipment (hand tools, chainsaws, chippers, and aerial lifts).
• Learning, understanding, and adhering to all safety rules and company safety policies.
• Exhibiting a passion for nature, the environment, and the outdoors.
