Job summary

Bartlett Tree Experts in Wisconsin seeks an Arborist Climber to join our outdoor tree care crew in Lake Geneva. You will climb trees and assist Crew Leaders in performing services on residential and commercial properties, including pruning, removals, and cabling, while adhering to safety practices.

The role requires at least one year of climbing experience (DdRT or SRT), a valid driver's license (Class B preferred), and the ability to work in all weather conditions year-round.

Qualifications

At least one year of tree climbing (DdRT or SRT) experience in the tree care industry.
Ability to safely perform ground, climbing, and aerial lift duties as directed by the Crew Leader.
Commitment to safety rules and company safety policies.

Responsibilities

Perform ground, tree climbing, and aerial lift duties in support of specific job assignments as directed by the Arborist Crew Leader.
Safely perform all arboriculture tasks: tree identification, risk assessments, pruning, removals, cabling and bracing, root collar excavations, tool and equipment maintenance.
Learn and adhere to all safety rules and company policies.
Demonstrate passion for nature and the outdoors.
Maintain outdoor work readiness year-round.

Key Responsibilities

As an Arborist Climber, you will play an important role in

Performing ground, tree climbing, and aerial lift duties in support of specific job assignments, as directed by the Arborist Crew Leader
Safely performing all aspects of arboriculture, including
- Tree identification
- Tree risk assessments
- Pruning
- Removals
- Cabling and bracing
- Root collar excavations
- Properly maintaining and operating tools and equipment (hand tools, chainsaws, chippers, and aerial lifts)
Learning, understanding, and adhering to all safety rules and company safety policies
A passion for nature, the environment, and the outdoors
At least one (1) year of tree climbing (DdRT or SRT) and aerial lift operation experience in the tree care industry
Valid driver's license (Class B CDL preferred)
Ability to work outdoors year-round in all weather conditions
