Bartlett Tree Experts is seeking an Arborist Climber to join the Pleasant Hill, CA crew. You will be integral in tree climbing and supporting Arborist Crew Leaders on residential and commercial properties with a strong emphasis on safety and professional development.

Qualifications

• At least one year of tree climbing (DdRT or SRT) and aerial lift experience.
• Valid driver's license (Class B CDL preferred).
• Ability to work outdoors year-round in all weather conditions.
• Entry level candidates considered.
• Passion for nature and the outdoors.

Responsibilities

• Perform ground, tree climbing, and aerial lift duties in support of specific job assignments.
• Safely perform all aspects of arboriculture, including identification, risk assessments, pruning, removals, cabling/bracing, and root collar excavations.
• Maintain and operate tools and equipment (hand tools, chainsaws, chippers, and aerial lifts).
• Learn and follow all safety rules and company safety policies.

As an Arborist Climber, you will play an important role in:

  • Tree identification
  • Tree risk assessments
  • Pruning
  • Removals
  • Cabling and bracing
  • Root collar excavations
  • Properly maintaining and operating tools and equipment (hand tools, chainsaws, chippers, and aerial lifts)
• Learning, understanding, and adhering to all safety rules and company safety policies

Qualifications

• A passion for nature, the environment, and the outdoors
• At least one (1) year of tree climbing (DdRT or SRT) and aerial lift operation experience in the tree care industry
• Valid driver's license (Class B CDL preferred)
• Ability to work outdoors year-round in all weather conditions
• Entry level okay
