Job summary

Bartlett Tree Experts is seeking an Arborist to join our team in Massachusetts. You will perform ground, climbing, and aerial lift duties, conduct tree identification and risk assessments, prune and remove trees, and handle cabling, bracing, and excavations while maintaining equipment.

Qualifications

• A passion for nature, the environment, and the outdoors.
• At least one (1) year of experience in the tree care industry is preferred
• Valid driver's license (Class B CDL preferred)
• Ability to work outdoors year-round in all weather conditions
• Valid state pesticide applicator license or ability to obtain following hire date – We will pay for the cost of the exam and help you prepare!

Responsibilities

• Performing ground, tree climbing, and aerial lift duties in support of specific job assignments, as directed by the Arborist Crew Leader
• Safely performing all aspects of arboriculture, including:
• Tree identification
• Tree risk assessments
• Pruning
• Removals
• Cabling and bracing
• Root collar excavations
• Properly maintaining and operating tools and equipment (hand tools, chainsaws, chippers, and aerial lifts)
• Performing tree and shrub care treatments using spray, tree injection, and soil injection tools as prescribed by the Arborist Representative
• Learning, understanding, and adhering to all safety rules and company safety policies
