Job summary

HII Mission Technologies seeks an Arabic Cryptologic Language Analyst in the Fort Meade area to support cyber and intelligence missions. You will translate, transcribe, and gisten Arabic materials, and maintain language databases for national security tasks.

Required is TS/SCI with poly, ILR 3 in Arabic-English, and prior cryptologic operations experience. This full-time role with competitive pay ranges aligns with the Mission Technologies division's national security mission.

Qualifications

• 2 years of relevant experience with Bachelor's in related field; 0 years with Master's in related field; or HS diploma + 6 years experience.
• ILR level 3 in Arabic to English translation required; documented within 2 years prior to resume submission.
• TS/SCI with Poly clearance required; cryptologic operations experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform language processing including translation and transcription from Arabic to English and vice versa.
• Scan, sort and categorize foreign language materials to extract actionable information.
• Quality control of language processing and maintain operational work aids/databases.

We are seeking a skilled Arabic Cryptologic Language Analyst to join our Cyber & Intelligence team and contribute to critical national security missions in the Fort Meade area.

What you will do

The candidate shall demonstrate the following cryptologic language processing skills:

• Scanning, sorting/categorizing foreign language written and verbal materials to recover essential elements of information
• Completing lists, translations, and transcriptions, of complex and sophisticated written and/or spoken materials from required language to English, and English to the required language
• Performing quality control on language processing activities
• Compiling and updating operational work aids and databases

We are hiring across multiple levels with a range of professional experience. Salary ranges below:

• Senior Arabic Cryptologic Linguist : $125,000 - $165,000
• Arabic Cryptologic Linguist $105,000 - $140,000
• Arabic Cryptologic Linguist, Associate: $75,000 - 115,000

What we are looking for

• 2 years of relevant experience with Bachelor's in related field; 0 years of experience with Master's in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 6 years of relevant experience
• Performance at Interagency Language Roundtable (ILR) skill level 3 in audio translation and text translation from Arabic into idiomatic, standard American English; skill level shall be documented within 2 years prior to resume submission
• Full-time experience in Cryptologic Operations performing language processing in the required language(s)
• Clearance: Must possess and maintain a TS/SCI with Poly
• Translating and/or transcribing, and gisting shall be the primary duty for at least 2 of the 4 years of experience
• Reporting shall be the primary duty for no more than 1 year of the required 4 years
• 2 years of end product reporting experience
• 3 years performing Computer Network Operations
