Job summary

Zotec Partners in Maryland is hiring an AR Specialist to join our hybrid team. You will focus on medical AR follow-up, address claim rejections and denials, and collaborate with insurers to obtain timely status updates.

This role requires strong communication, accuracy, and the ability to manage multiple tasks daily in a fast-paced healthcare environment. Key duties include resolving EOB-driven issues, processing appeals, and maintaining precise records.

Qualifications

• Experience in medical billing with EOBs and AR follow-up.
• Experience in radiology billing is a plus.
• Strong willingness to learn and grow.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to prioritize workload and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

We’re seeking an AR Specialist to join us. This is a hybrid position.

As aMedical AR Specialist,you will be responsible for following up on claims rejections and denials, identifying billing issues, communicating with insurance companies for status on outstanding claims, working daily correspondence work files, processing and follow up on appeals and resolving correspondence issues.

• Medical billing experience working with explanation of benefits (EOBs) and AR follow-up preferred
• Experience in radiology billing a plus
• Strong willingness to learn
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel
• Excellent communication and strong problem solving skills
• Capable of prioritizing work flow and able to ensure deadlines are met
• High school diploma or equivalent
