Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of medical billing experience with a strong emphasis in Accounts Receivable.
• Proven success in denial management, appeals, and insurance follow-up.
• Strong knowledge of ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding systems.
• Experience with Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial payers required.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain all aspects of Accounts Receivable, with a focus on timely follow-up and resolution.
• Investigate and resolve denied, rejected, and unpaid claims with insurance carriers.
• Post payments and reconcile EOBs accurately.
• Submit corrected claims and appeals as needed.
• Handle patient billing inquiries, statements, and collections professionally.
• Identify trends in denials or underpayments and recommend process improvements.
