Job summary

Life Time, Inc. is seeking an Aquatics Assistant Manager to support the Manager in overseeing all aquatic programs including Family Swim, Swim Lessons, Swim Team, Masters Swim and more.

You will ensure safety, financial success, and effective leadership of the department’s team. The role requires lifeguard credentials, CPR/First Aid, and the ability to train and develop staff while meeting department goals.

Qualifications

• Must swim 300 yards/meters without stopping.
• Must tread water for 1 minute.
• Must swim, retrieve a 10 lb diving brick from the bottom of the pool and swim the brick to the top without stopping.
• Some college experience.
• 1 year of customer service experience.
• 1 year of supervisory/management experience.
• 1 year of swim instruction/coaching experience.
• 2 years of lifeguard experience.
• StarGuard Elite Lifeguard, BLS CPR, and First Aid certified.

Responsibilities

• Help to cast, train and develop all Aquatics Team Members.
• Help to manage the financials of the Aquatics business to meet or exceed department goals.
• Ensure Aquatics Team Members offer a safe and friendly experience for members and guests.
• Respond to all member inquiries in a professional way.
