Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent education (i.e., minimum completed units = 120 semester/180 quarter).
• One year of full-time experience developing, planning, and implementing aquatic recreation programs.
• A valid California Class C Driver License is required at the time of hire.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, implement, monitor, and evaluate department-wide aquatic and volunteer programs.
• Recruit, supervise, and evaluate staff, interns and volunteers, and coordinate assignments.
• Plan, coordinate and implement training of aquatics and volunteer supervisory staff.
• Maintain liaison with schools, the public, community organizations, recreation councils, and other groups.
