Job summary

HealthFitness, a Trustmark company, is seeking part-time swim instructors to join the Aquatics Team at Advocate Condell Centre Club in Gurnee, IL. Responsibilities include providing safe, effective instruction to adults and children in private or small group lessons, and designing personalized programs.

Minimum requirements include being at least 17 years old, CPR/AED/First Aid certification within 30 days, strong swimming ability, proficiency in all strokes, and flu vaccination in Fall.

About the role

Looking to make some extra money? HealthFitness is looking for part-time (working approximately 5 hour per week) Swim Instructors to join the Aquatics Team at the Advocate Condell Centre Club, managed by HealthFitness in Gurnee, IL!

Availability Needed

• Weekdays 4:00PM - 7:00PM


• Weekends 8:00AM - 12:00PM and/or 2:00PM - 4:00PM

Responsible for providing effective and safe swim instruction to adults and children participating in private or small group lessons. Design individualized programs to meet the participant's interests, abilities, and goals.

Minimum Requirements

• Must be at least 17 years old.


• Adult & Child CPR/AED/First Aid certification from American Heart Association, American Red Cross or American Safety & Health Institute required within 30 days.


• Must have a strong swim background.


• Proficiency in all swim strokes.


• Flu vaccination required during Fall season.

The compensation for this role is commission-based. The final wage offer will be determined based on factors such as location, qualifications, experience, skill set, and other relevant factors.
