Job summary

SOLitude Lake Management – a Rentokil family company – seeks an Aquatic Technician to maintain and manage aquatic environments, including ponds, lakes, pools, and water features. You will ensure health, safety, and functionality while supporting conservation and education initiatives.

The role requires knowledge of water chemistry, equipment maintenance, and the ability to respond to emergencies. Working hours may include evenings or weekends to meet operations needs.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED. Degree in related science preferred.
• 0–1 years’ experience preferred in an environmental related field.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance to ensure cleanliness and sanitation of aquatic facilities.
• Monitor and maintain water chemistry levels (pH, chlorine, alkalinity) for safety and comfort.
• Inspect and repair aquatic equipment such as pumps, valves, and filtration systems.
• Maintain accurate records of water quality data and maintenance logs.
• Respond to emergencies and discontinue operations as needed to protect animals and staff.
