Job summary

Rentokil North America is seeking an Aquatic Technician to maintain ponds, lakes, pools, aquariums, and water features. You will perform routine water testing, assess equipment performance, and ensure high standards of sanitation and safety, while keeping detailed logs and responding to incidents.

The role requires knowledge of aquatic biology, water chemistry, and the ability to work flexible hours. CPR/First Aid certification is preferred and a valid driver's license is required for site

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; science degree preferred.
• Experience in environmental or aquatic settings is welcome but not required.
• Knowledge of water chemistry, aquatic biology, and safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance of aquatic facilities including water quality testing and debris removal.
• Monitor pH, chlorine, and alkalinity to ensure safe aquatic environments.
• Inspect and repair pumps, filtration, heaters, and related equipment.
• Maintain records and complete work orders accurately and promptly.
• Respond to emergencies and follow safety SOPs to protect people and animals.
