Qualifications

• 1+ years in live theater tech, stage crew, or theme park stunt show operations.
• Comfort working directly over water; scuba certification or lifeguard safety knowledge is a plus and often trained on the job.
• Ability to lift up to 50+ lbs, climb scaffolding or diving platforms, work in humid, high-energy environments.
• PADI certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Aquatic Stage Operations: Manage mechanical lifts, traps, and moving stage elements transitioning from stage to diving pool.
• Deck Safety & Cueing: Ensure splash zones/ platforms are clear of debris; manage water sequence props and safety cues for divers.
• Water Effects Maintenance: Operate and troubleshoot water systems, underwater lighting, pumps, drains, and filtration.
• Pre/Post-Show Maintenance: Daily checks on deck seals, water levels, and emergency underwater safety equipment.
