Job summary

Mt Ascutney Hospital in Windsor, Vermont, seeks a per diem physical therapist or physical therapy assistant to join the Outpatient Rehabilitation department with a focus on aquatic therapy. Mentorship opportunities and a clinical ladder program with compensation are available.

The Miller Therapy Pool is directly connected to the department, enabling multidisciplinary care with PCPs, Physiatry, Pediatrics, Neurology, and other therapies.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved Physical Therapy or Physical Therapy Assistant Program.
• Current licensure in the State of Vermont.
• Effective oral communication skills and professional behavior.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered treatment, primarily in aquatic environment, with various diagnoses.
• Maintain appropriate patient records and coordinate with the health care team to ensure optimal care.
• Collaborate with outpatient rehabilitation team, PCPs, Physiatry, and other therapies to support care.
