A growing aquatic maintenance company in Florida is seeking qualified Aquatic Technicians to join their team. A clean Florida driver’s license and reliable transportation are required.

Qualifications

• Experience in aquatic maintenance, especially in outdoor settings.
• Possessing a Commercial Restricted Pesticide Applicator’s License is preferred.
• Ability to work independently and effectively communicate with customers.
• Clean Florida driver’s license or reliable transportation.
• Willingness to work outdoors and travel as needed.

Job Overview

Steadfast is seeking qualified and EXPERIENCED professionals to compliment a growing aquatic maintenance division. We service lakes, ponds, and conservation areas all over the greater Tampa Bay Area. This Aquatic Technician position offers fast‑track opportunities to Account Management.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

• Work independently.
• Use technology such as iPhone, iPad, computer, etc.
• Knowledge of herbicides/pesticides.
• Apply mathematical skills to correctly prepare herbicide solutions.
• Operate ATV/UTV and small watercraft.
• Properly identify plant species, both invasive and native.
• Have mechanical inclination.
• Possess a Commercial Restricted Pesticide Applicator’s License (preferred but not required).
• Strong customer communication skills and literacy.
• Willingness to work in all types of weather conditions (heat, rain, cold, etc.). This is primarily an outdoor position requiring physical labor.
• Hold a clean Florida driver’s license and have reliable transportation to and from work.

Compensation will be congruent with level of experience.
