Job summary

Serenity Aquarium & Aviary Services is seeking an entry-level technician for part-time remote work, primarily servicing aquariums and aviaries in nursing homes and assisted living facilities. Requires basic hand-tool knowledge, ability to travel within a 150-mile radius of Augusta, ME, and physical tasks including lifting.

Driver’s license is required. Hourly wage starts at $25.00; average 5–10 hours per month with variable monthly workloads.

Qualifications

• Experience in keeping fish and/or birds preferred.
• Basic hand-tool knowledge required.
• Strong team communication is a plus.
• Willingness to lift 50 lb supplies and perform physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and service aquariums and aviaries in nursing and assisted living facilities.
• Communicate product and service offerings to clients.
• Schedule efficient service routes and manage customer needs via calls, emails, and faxes.
• Assist with loading/unloading and stocking supplies.
