Job summary

Wonders of Wildlife (WOW) in Springfield, Missouri, is seeking Aquarist I or II to join a team of over 50 animal care professionals. You will participate in daily husbandry tasks, support animal training and welfare, and ensure tanks and habitats remain in top condition.Applicants typically have 2–4 years of aquarium experience and a Bachelor's in biology or a related field; diving abilities and adequate swimming are required. The Role:

Wonders of Wildlife (WOW) has a team of over 50 animal care professionals. The Aquarists I and II roles contribute to this team by caring for a variety of aquatic animals including daily husbandry tasks, supporting animal training and welfare practices, and ensuring tanks/habitats are in optimal condition. This role is primarily based in Springfield, MO with some opportunities to support other Conservation Attractions.

The Ask:

A successful Aquarist typically has a minimum of two to four years' experience working in an aquarium or other professional setting along with a Bachelor's degree in biology or a related field. Aquarists also function as divers, and must possess adequate swimming and diving abilities.
