Job summary

Aqua-Tots Swim Schools Glendale is seeking responsible Swim Instructors to teach kids in a fun, safe indoor-pool setting. No experience is required, and training will be provided. You’ll learn our proven curriculum, cheer on learners, and help parents stay informed.

If you’re 16+ and looking for part-time hours that fit around school, this is a great entry point into aquatics. Starting wage is $16/hour with quarterly raises based on performance and attitude.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• No prior teaching experience required.
• Able to lift 30 lbs and work in warm water for 4–5 hours.
• Friendly, reliable, and eager to learn.

Responsibilities

• Teach swim lessons using our curriculum.
• Cheer on kids as they learn and grow in the water.
• Make lessons fun, safe, and memorable.
• Communicate with parents and teammates confidently.
• Keep lessons on time and organized.
• Pitch in with light cleanup.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Teaching swim lessons using our proven curriculum
• Cheering on kids as they learn and grow in the water
• Making lessons fun, safe, and memorable
• Talking with parents and teammates with confidence and positivity
• Keeping things on time and organized
• Pitching in with simple cleanup tasks to keep the place looking great

What We are Looking For:

• Confident swimmer (you don’t need to be an Olympic athlete!)
• Great with kids and love working with them
• Positive attitude, high energy, and great communication
• Reliable and on time
• Physically able to lift 30 lbs., climb out of the pool, and work in warm water for 4–5 hours
