Job summary

aQua Dialysis League City is seeking a full-time Charge Nurse to join our team. Shift is Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday.

The Charge Nurse will assess patient needs during dialysis, lead shift operations, coordinate with the medical team, and educate patients and families about ESRD and dialysis therapy.

Qualifications

• Current Texas RN license required.
• CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs and respond to dialysis treatments, communicating with rounding physician.
• Implement changes in patient care as directed.
• Communicate with physicians and healthcare team to interpret, adjust, and complete care plans.
• Ensure safe, effective delivery of patient care in compliance with facility policies and governing regulations.
• Maintain overall shift operation in a safe, efficient, and effective manner as the leader.
• Monitor and supervise patient care activities during dialysis.
• Educate patient and family about End Stage Renal Disease, dialysis therapy, diet and medications.

aQua Dialysis League City is seeking a full-time Charge Nurse to join our dynamic team! Shift is Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday.

Responsibilities

• At the dialysis unit, the charge nurse will assess patient needs, respond to dialysis treatments, and communicate concerns to the rounding physician.
• Also, they will implement changes in patient care/treatment as directed.
• The nurse communicates with the physician and other members of the healthcare team to interpret, adjust, and complete patient care plans.
• They provide safe, effective delivery of patient care in compliance with standards outlined in the facility policy and procedure, as well as regulations set forth by the company, state, and federal agencies.
• As a leader, the charge nurse maintains overall shift operation in a safe, efficient, and effective matter.
• They monitor and supervise all patient care activity during dialysis and assist as necessary.
• Also, they ensure educational needs of patients are met and educate the patient and family about End Stage Renal Disease, dialysis therapy, diet and medication.

Requirements

• Current Texas RN license and CPR required.
