Jet Propulsion Laboratory in Pasadena seeks a Business Analyst APX intern to develop data-driven tools and dashboards that enhance opportunity tracking and portfolio visibility. You will translate business needs into practical solutions using Power BI, SharePoint, and low-code platforms while supporting internal teams across multiple projects.

This internship emphasizes real-world data analytics, workflow automation, and collaboration with engineers and business staff.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled at least half-time at an accredited college or university in a related field
• Must be available to work 20 hours per week
• Minimum GPA of 3.0/4.0
• Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to interpret data
• Ability to work in a team environment and communicate clearly

Responsibilities

• Design and develop dashboards, trackers, and lightweight applications for opportunity tracking and portfolio visibility
• Automate workflows and organize data from multiple sources for consistent reporting
• Develop internal team sites or knowledge-sharing platforms to improve information accessibility
• Prepare business development materials such as summaries, pitch decks, and briefing content for leadership
• Support portfolio analyses including sponsor assessments and risk-informed decision making
• Iterate on tools based on feedback to improve usability and adoption
