Georgia Department of Human Services (DHS) is seeking an Adult Protective Services Case Manager Supervisor to lead a team in Savannah, GA. The role focuses on supervising staff, assessing risk to clients, and ensuring safe, compliant service delivery.

The position requires a bachelor’s degree and three years of case management experience, plus potential travel across counties and telework opportunities depending on the assignment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university and three (3) years case management experience.
• Two (2) years of experience at lower level Adult Protective Services Case Manager 3 (SSP172) or position equivalent.
• Experience in Adult Protective Services preferred.
• Possession of a valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle for required work-related activities.

Responsibilities

• Manages staff through coordinating and planning.
• Evaluates the level of risk to clients and takes appropriate action to ensure safety.
• Monitors and organizes work to ensure quality and adherence.
• Reviews, approves/disapproves and/or renders decisions.
• Maintains and shares knowledge.
• Ensures accurate, timely records and reports.
