Job summary

Crawford Memorial Hospital in Illinois is seeking a Walk-In Clinic Nurse Practitioner to coordinate patient care in a fast-paced clinic under supervision of a licensed physician.

You will examine, diagnose and treat conditions, prescribe medications and therapies, educate patients and families, and help connect patients with a primary care provider.

Illinois DEA license, BLS, ACLS recommended within 1 year, and about 2 years of acute/urgent care experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Current IL DEA License required.
• BLS required.
• ACLS recommended within 1 year of hire.
• 2 years Acute Care/Urgent Care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate planning, implementation and on-going monitoring and evaluation of patients in a walk-in clinic setting under supervision of a collaborating licensed physician.

Salary Range: $90,000.00 To $110,000.00 Annually

Position Summary

The Nurse Practitioner coordinates the planning, implementation and on-going monitoring and evaluation of patients in a walk-in clinic setting under the supervision of a collaborating licensed physician. Responsibilities include examining, diagnosing, treating patient conditions, educating patients and family members about medical options, prescribing medications and treatments, and performing other duties to support patients. Assist in coordinating continuum of care, educate patients with no primary care provider on the importance of establishing a primary health care provider.

Certification/Licensure for NP
