Job summary

Qualifications

• Education must comply with state licensing board education requirements.
• 0–1-year relevant experience in developing and running patient care programs.
• Advanced Practice Registered Nurse licensed in Florida upon hire; BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assesses patient status by taking health history and performing examinations.
• Orders or performs laboratory and screening tests; collaborates with physicians for evaluation.
• Develops and implements treatment plans including prescribing medications.
• Educates patients on adherence, growth, development, and health maintenance.
• Participates in peer reviews, quality assurance, and staff education to ensure standards are met.
• Collaborates with physicians for managing acute and long-term medical needs and coordinates care.
• Functions in a First Assist capacity to physician in the operating room when applicable.
