The University of Miami/UHealth Department of Surgery, Endocrinology is seeking an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN). The APRN examines and treats patients independently and in collaboration with other health care professionals, delivering illness and injury care, diagnosis, treatment, and recovery.

Requirements include a Master’s degree, a valid State of Florida APRN license, and two years of experience.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a relevant field required.
• Valid State of Florida APRN license required.
• Two years of experience required.

Responsabilités

• Performs and documents complete physical examinations and comprehensive health histories.
• Orders and interprets diagnostic and therapeutic tests relative to patient's age-specific needs.
• Prescribes appropriate pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic treatment modalities.
• Monitors the effectiveness of interventions.
• Collaborates with multidisciplinary team members by making appropriate referrals.
