Job summary

Teradata Corporation seeks an Application Security professional to integrate, automate, and strengthen security across SDLC. You will analyze findings from SAST/DAST, perform code reviews in multiple languages, and drive secure development through CI/CD pipelines.

You will assess cloud configurations and partner with Product Engineering and security teams to reduce risk. As part of Teradata Information Security, you will mentor engineers, deliver secure coding training, and help shape AppSec

Qualifications

• Proficient in Java, C/C++, Go, Python, or JavaScript/TypeScript for security issues.
• Integrate SAST, SCA, DAST, IaC, and container scanning into CI/CD pipelines.
• Identify and remediate software supply chain risks.
• Review AI security standards and AOAI risk related to AI workflows.
• Translate findings into plain-language summaries for stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and triage findings from SAST, SCA, DAST, IaC, and container scanning tools.
• Deliver remediation guidance to development teams for AppSec findings.
• Perform code reviews across Java, C/C++, Go, Python, and JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Integrate and tune AppSec scanning tools within CI/CD pipelines.
• Review cloud environments for AppSec risk and misconfigurations.
• Communicate findings clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
